Screw Drivers Steam Achievements
Sixteen Steam goals, from the Prince of Gears through treasure maniac, with the pages that actually help you pop them.
Screw Drivers lists 16 Steam achievements. Ten of them are highlighted on the store page. The rest hide in the Steam overlay until you earn them or inspect the full list. This page maps the public goals to the wiki guides that already exist, so you are not hunting a separate checklist that contradicts career advice.
Achievements are Steam metadata. They do not replace the in-game tech tree, gems, or Driver’s License XP. You can finish career and still miss a treasure achievement. You can pop Accelerate on a first Electrix-180 and still fail the Secret Queen.
Beat the Monarchs
Five achievements fire when you defeat the career bosses:
- Beat the Prince of Gears — first monarch. A stable beginner chassis is enough if you drive clean. See Prince of Gears.
- Beat the Combustion King — needs speed and a combustion-friendly ratio. See Combustion King.
- Beat the Queen of Quickening — acceleration and throttle discipline. See Queen of Quickening.
- Beat the King of Kinetics — physics puzzles more than raw horsepower. See King of Kinetics.
- Beat the Secret Queen — final boss, including the compass part on her kit. See Secret Queen.
Order matches the campaign. Skip ahead only if you already unlocked the later islands. Creative mode now unlocks all islands after v1.0, but the Steam goals still expect the career wins, not a creative ghost.
v1.0 re-drove the Combustion King ghost and restored ghosts on RT, volcano, supersonic, and stunt races. If an old guide told you a ghost was missing, update your client before you blame the clock.
Accelerate and Power transmission
Accelerate is an early tutorial-style goal. Build any car that actually moves, enable steering on the front suspension, and use throttle. If the car sits still, you have an axle or gear gap — Troubleshooting and Getting Started cover that before you hunt a hidden flag.
Power transmission wants a drivetrain that is more than a motor glued to a wheel. Place an engine, an axle, at least one gear, and a driven wheel. The Gear Transmissions and Transmission Guide pages are the long versions. v1.0 blueprints make it easier to reuse a working box once you have popped this once.
Treasure spotter, hunter, maniac
Three achievements scale with hidden chests on the career island:
- Treasure spotter — find your first chest.
- Treasure hunter — a mid stack.
- Treasure maniac — the completionist count.
Chests are career-only. Creative and custom Workshop tracks do not substitute. Icons appear on the map during free run. Some chests need a light climber or a long-travel off-road setup rather than a Pulo Pangripta racer. Use Treasure Locations and bring Dirt Wheel 4 or Buggy rubber if the last few sit on gravel shelves.
Named spawn points added in v1.0 help you jump closer to a region, but they do not mark chests. Do not confuse a free-drive spawn with a treasure icon.
The six unlisted goals
Steam shows sixteen total and highlights ten. The remaining six are still real achievements; they are just not in the store carousel. Open the Steam overlay, sort by unearned, and read the in-client description. Do not trust a random video titled “Screw Unlock” — that is a different mobile puzzle. For this game, stick to Headup, Creactstudios, OZTRON, and playthroughs that show the build editor.
When a hidden description mentions a specific island, DLC, or part, confirm you own that content. Stunt Showdown and Pretty Fly have their own challenges. Base-game achievements should not require those packs. If a goal names Isola Tartaruga, that is DLC.
Practical order
- Pop Accelerate and Power transmission while you follow Getting Started.
- Beat the five Monarchs in campaign order.
- Sweep treasures on Pulau Mahkota during free run, then check Offroad Island and Pulo Pangripta if any remaining count needs those maps.
- Finish the overlay leftovers last so you are not rebuilding the car for a secret you already satisfied.
DLC badges on the driver’s license are not Steam achievements. They only show which packs you own. Buying Pretty Fly will not grant Beat the Secret Queen.
